The following photographs are pictures of a piano underneath the piano keys. It is recommended for a piano to be cleaned once every 20 years. If you've had your piano for a while and it's never been thoroughly cleaned, there's a very good chance that it needs cleaned! Carpets of dust over an extended period of time will accumulate underneath the keys, behind the knee board, etc.
